Christine is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC. She brings 7 years serving in the mental health field working with children, youth, adults and families. Christine has worked in non-profit organizations, the ministry, alongside a variety of community professionals supporting those that have experienced complex trauma, have struggled with life transitions, depression, anxiety, relational issues, grief and more.

Christine draws from an intersectional, multicultural, holistic and trauma-informed lens that allows individuals to be seen from the many facets of their lives. She enjoys working in a collaborative, client-centered and relational approach where individuals are able to express, process and explore their life experiences. Christine values this space to bring more self awareness, unpack your challenges while honouring your strengths and ultimately validating your human experience.

With gratitude, Christine recognizes that she is a settler that lives and works on the territories of the Kwantlen, Semiahmoo and Tsawwassen First Nations. In her spare time, Christine enjoys being outdoors, travelling, cooking, dancing, martial arts and spending time with family and friends. She aims to embrace and hold your experience without any judgement and acknowledges the courage it takes to simply show up.


Shih-Shin Lee, Pre-registered Counsellor (she/her)

Shih-Shin is a Pre-registered Clinical Counsellor passionate about creating a safe and warm space for clients.  As a cisgender queer immigrant, she relates to the journey of exploring sexual orientation, the challenges of navigating between cultures as a third-culture kid and settling in Canada. 

Shih-Shin has worked with various populations and brings 5 years of experience in the mental health field. Her areas of focus are building one’s sense of self, including exploring cultural identity, gender identity and sexual orientation. She also has a unique approach to trauma, grief and loss, the family of origin, depression and anxiety, major life transitions and more.

Shih-Shin’s therapeutic approaches are anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, neurodivergent-informed and collaborative. Her therapeutic framework empowers clients and integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotional-Focused Therapy, expressive art techniques, mindfulness-based techniques, parts work, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. 

Shih-Shin has a multicultural background.  She was born in Taiwan, raised in Mainland China and has Korean heritage. Shih-Shin speaks multiple languages and is able to conduct sessions in English and Mandarin. Additionally, she can also speak conversational Korean and Japanese during sessions.

Shih-Shin currently works and lives on the traditional, unceded territories of Coast Salish Peoples, namely the xwməθkwəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh, Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh Nations.  With respect and gratitude, she constantly learns the meaning of being connected to this land by recreating in nature.
